Nov 4: Chitwan National Park (CNP) has recorded a sharp plunge in its revenue collection since the past few months, clearly indicating the adverse effects of the country's current chaotic situation.

According to the national park's information officer Tika Ram Poudel, the revenue collection from August to October this year has been recorded at Rs 102.3 million, which is a two-thirds dip from the revenue collected in the same period last year.

The CNP had collected Rs 306.8 million in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. A statement released by the national park claimed that it had collected Rs 104.14 million in August alone last year, which is greater than the combined revenue collected in the first quarter of this year.

The catastrophic 7.8 magnitude earthquake of April 25, coupled with over two months of Madhes protests and the economic blockade imposed by India has contributed to 80% decline in tourists visiting the national park. The consequences are clearly visible in the tourism industry, which is also reflected by the sharp dip in the park's revenue collection.

Half of the revenue collected from the park is invested in its buffer zone. The buffer zone consists of human settlements and arable lands adjoining the CNP. There are a total of 21 consumer groups in Nawalparasi, Parsa and Makawanpur districts, all of whom border the CNP. Their budget allocation is fully dependent on revenue collected from the park.

CNP, the first national park of the country, is well known throughout the world as the habitat for endangered one-horned rhinos and Royal Bengal tigers. Considering its contribution in national revenue collection, stakeholders and officials have been pointing out that the diminishing number of tourists and the country's current political situation will have severe impact in the country's economy.

Nov 3, 2015- Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has described claims that militants linked to Islamic State brought down a Russian airliner as "propaganda".

He told the BBC that it was too early to say what had caused the crash.

The Airbus 321 is thought to have broken up in mid-air over the Sinai peninsula on Saturday, killing all 224 people on board.

On Monday, the airline Kogalymavia blamed "external influence" for the crash.

But the head of Russia's Federal Aviation Agency, Aleksandr Neradko, told Russian TV that such talk was premature and "not based on any proper facts".

Nov 3, 2015- In a bid to spread message that Nepal is still safe to visit after the devastating April 25 earthquake, a team of Korean photographers has arrived in Nepal on Tuesday for an eight-day trip.

The 40-member team, which is in Nepal at the invitation of a Nepal-based organisation, 'Sukhawati Pratisthan' and a trekking organisation, Friends Team Pvt. Ltd (FTPL), is scheduled to visit tourist destinations like Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Patan and Nagarkot among others.

The team will also visit tourist areas like Sarangkot of Kaski, Dhampus, Hemjakot, apart from some tourist destinations of Pokhara and Chitwan, officials of the FTPL said.

Rajendra Bahadur Lama, executive director of FTPL, said that the team will initiate publicity campaign about Nepal through photographs of the lifestyle of local people, their religion and culture.

"We invited the team of Korean photographers to spread the message that Nepal is safe to visit even after the quake and photographs are an effective means to make the campaign a success," Lama said.

One of the team members said that Nepal is safe to visit as against the news they heard about the pathetic condition of Nepal after the quake.

"We will publish a magazine with photographs taken here in Nepal about the condition of Nepal. We will also spread message, through the media, friend circles, internet and various organisations in Korea, that Nepal is safe to visit," the team member told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

1   Announce new products on your Facebook page and promote the post using the traditional Facebook Ads interface so you can target your post to the Facebook audiences most likely to buy.

2  Use the Custom Audience feature in the Facebook Ads Power Editor to target ads to your current customer base and mailing list to increase visibility for your new products.

3Add a custom tab to your Facebook page that lets you sell directly on Facebook, or that guides your Facebook fans from your page to your online store.

4  Look for opportunities in relevant Facebook groups to promote your products. Start by joining groups where your target customers are active. Look for questions that can be answered with a mention of your product and answer them, preferably linking to your product’s landing page.

5  Comment on blogs using the Facebook Comments plugin that your customers regularly read. Either comment as your Facebook page or comment as your personal profile after you have connected your page to your profile under the employment section of your personal profile’s about tab. You will get a link to your Facebook page with either option. Look for posts that allow you to casually mention your products in the comment so people will have reason to click through to your page.

6Update your cover photo with a photo or benefits list for your new / bestselling product. Make sure the photo’s description has a link to your product’s landing page so that when people click on the cover photo, they can easily click through to your landing page. You can also make a shortened URL for your landing page (something easy to type like bit.ly/ourproduct as opposed to bit.ly/Iso93lco) and add it to your cover photo.
Nearly a year ago, Estée Lauder CEO Fabrizio Freda told us that the best way to compete with skin care brands coming out of South Korea — currently the world's hub of innovation in that arena — was to embrace its trends and technology. Freda's team had seen South Korea's domination in skin care coming for some time: Clinique, an Estée Lauder-owned brand, was one of the first to bring BB creams to the US.

Now Estée Lauder is drawing closer to the source of South Korea's advancements in skin care technology. The company is taking a stake in Have & Be Co. Ltd., the owner of Do The Right Thing and Dr. Jart+, one of the first skin care brands to start sponsoring runway shows at New York Fashion Week. Estée Lauder has not at this point disclosed the terms of the agreement.

The deal, which should close by December, marks Lauder's first investment in a Korean cosmetics brand. The company has in recent months been working to align itself to Korea's beauty scene through other means, though. This summer, for instance, it signed the rainbow-haired model Irene Kim, who was born in Seattle and moved in middle school to Seoul, as a "global brand contributor."

No doubt we'll hear more about this investment next week, when Estée Lauder gives its first financial update of the fiscal year. It comes at a good time, though: In August, the company's skin care sales were down, thanks to decreased consumption in Hong Kong and, yes, Korea.

Many news and details never really came out to the public mind. crocodile’s physical traits allow it to be a successful predator. Its external morphology is a sign of its aquatic and predatory lifestyle. Its streamlined body enables it to swim swiftly, it also tucks its feet to the side while swimming, which makes it faster by decreasing water resistance.
They have webbed feet which, though not used to propel the animal through the water, allow them to make fast turns and sudden moves in the water or initiate swimming.
Webbed feet are an advantage in shallower water, where the animal sometimes moves around by walking. Crocodiles have a palatal flap, a rigid tissue at the back of the mouth that blocks the entry of water.
The palate has a special path from the nostril to the glottis that bypasses the mouth. The nostrils are closed during submergence.
Like other archosaurs, crocodilians are diapsid, although their post-temporal fenestrae are reduced. The walls of the braincase are bony, but lack supratemporal and postfrontal bones.
Their tongues are not free, but held in place by a membrane that limits movement; as a result, crocodiles are unable to stick out their tongues.
Crocodiles have smooth skin on their bellies and sides, while their dorsal surfaces are armoured with large osteoderms. The armoured skin has scales and is thick and rugged, providing some protection. They are still able to absorb heat through this armour, as a network of small capillaries allows blood through the scales to absorb heat.
Crocodilian scales have pores believed to be sensory in function, analogous to the lateral line in fishes. They are particularly seen on their upper and lower jaws. Another possibility is that they are secretory, as they produce an oily substance which appears to flush mud off
“Please pray 4 the 22 Christian Missionary families that will be executed by Islamists in Afghanistan. Please PASS as fast as u can so that many will pray!My first reaction was shock and I decided to consult the internet for more information. I found this on a website called bloodwoodtree.org:

“There is a bit of discussion on the net about it, but no one can confirm the origin of the message or its authenticity. There is no news coverage despite the fact that this sort of thing would make big headlines, and as the messages started yesterday we could probably assume that any executions may have already occurred. The mission agency and advocate for martyrs “Open Doors” also has no knowledge of such an event, so it is likely that this is a hoax.

In July 2007, 23 Korean missionaries were captured by the Taliban and 1 executed in July 2007, with the threat that the remaining 22 would be executed if demands were not met immediately. The situation was diffused (I don’t have the details I’m sorry – please post them here if you do), but it sounds like the text message could be a re-run of the old one.

It’s a good reminder that we need to pray for our missionaries overseas, but at the same time please make a point of praying about the fact that if this is not true, then a message is going around the world that is likely to stir up a lot of anger against Afghanistan. While such events are a reality, if it’s not happening this time then this is a lie designed to reinforce in ‘good Christian’ minds that Afghans are bad. That’s a hate crime.”

Note that this was posted on 28th February, 2009 and today is 9th April, 2013 or was I somehow transported to the future? What the person(s) who created this message hope(s) to achieve, I do not know; and why is this message being re-broadcast four years later? There are a number of links I would have posted, but no thanks to terrible internet, I cannot. However, you can use google to get more information.

We’re used to hearing stories like this out of universities. At Penn State this past March, members of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity were caught posting photos of passed out, naked and half-naked women to a Facebook page, without consent.

It became a national news story, and the fraternity was suspended for three years. But, just 197 miles away, on a quiet, grassy campus, nestled in a Pennsylvania suburb, a group of boys were brewing an eerily similar scandal of their own — only these boys were in high school, and the girls in the pics they were sharing were teens, mostly under 18
